Technical Business Analyst

State Government organization looking for a Senior Business analyst to deliver on cloud functionality and improvements for a new healthcare paltform.

Our client is a great South Australian State Government administration, committed to improving south Australian clinician healthcare services. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Business Analyst to contribute to the implementation of a 3-year exciting road map. There have several customisation and internal cloud enhancement projects that will require the ability to identify the best way to technical and business solutions outcomes and solve problems keeping the clinicians and staff in mind.

• 5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week
• Adelaide CBD locations (2 days WFH allowed)
• Adelaide based candidates only. This role requires the candidate to be in the office every day due to critical hardware being based on different sites.
• $70 to $120 per hour base plus 11% superannuation on an hourly rate contract, 37.5 hours (15% casual loading included). The rate of pay is aligned with skills, experience, or expertise.
• Health Professionals and Support Services 2020 industry award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances and superannuation.

Your background:

• Experience working as a Technical Business Analyst with small, highly skilled, cloud analytics teams.
• Understanding of cloud-based analytics solutions to the extent that you can translate a business needs into robust specifications and use cases.
• Experience with agile development concepts and leading client workshops to extract use cases and craft personas.
• Excellent communication and business engagement skills to engage clinical and technical teams.

The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for contributing to the Data and Analytics Platform initiatives through:

• Providing input into project planning including the development of implementation plans.
• Stakeholder engagement including internal business and clinical units, technical and non-technical teams, and software vendors.
• Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
• Managing customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results.
• Supporting business transition and helping to establish change.
• Developing accurate business requirements, functional specifications, business process documentation, training, and project communications.
• Gathering, documenting and manage current state and future state process maps and workflows.
• Planning and facilitating process improvement workshops with multiple stakeholders, including senior and executive managers.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
• Understanding and managing customer requirements and expectations throughout project delivery.
• Interacting with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
• Leading requirements analysis, validation, and verification, ensuring that documented requirements are clear, concise, unambiguous, and verifiable.
• Preparing and/or reviewing system documentation and specifications in accordance with our client's project management methodology.
