The Technical Business Analyst role is an integral part of the Technology & Innovation team, responsible for overseeing technology-based projects. Collaborating with various AAL business units and external partners, this position ensures that both technical and business requirements are effectively understood, prioritised, and met according to stakeholder agreements on individual projects. The Technical Business Analyst will work across projects as directed, adhering to AAL's Project Management Framework.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders and third parties to elicit requirements.
- Document project requirements and ensure buy-in and sign-off on the end-to-end set of requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to appropriately rate and prioritise requirements.
- Document as-is and to-be processes and standards.
- Identify opportunities for process and technical improvement and innovation.
- Develop detailed technical and non-technical specifications aligned with project and organisational goals.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions in conjunction with IT teams.
- Analyse data, conduct feasibility studies, and present findings to support decision-making processes.
- Identify changes to requirements and work with project managers and technical teams to complete impact analyses.
- Develop test strategies and scenarios aligned with project requirements and ensure proposals and identified deliverables meet business needs.
Key requirements include:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Hands-on experience in Technical Business analysis.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders on a single project.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work effectively across organisational levels, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated and proactive, with a 'can do' attitude.
Overall, you will need to be adaptable, proactive, and customer-focused, with a strong ability to build trust and work effectively in a team.
