Technical Business Analyst

As a Technical Business Analyst you will be actively involved in requirements gathering and the translation of the requirements into solutions with the use of new and existing enterprise components. You'll work closely with Business Analysts, Products Owners and Development teams to support the delivery of a Maximum Lovable Product (MXP) through the analysis, review and documentation of product functional and technical requirements that delight our customers.

Reporting to a Product Success Director, you will play a pivotal role in our Student Experience team by:

• Use the TechnologyOne App Builder framework to develop new product capability using business process mapping tools, form building tools, and ETL tools.
• Develop and demonstrate understanding of the product - its features and functions, legislative and compliance constraints and regional or industry flavours.
• Work closely with the Product Owner, Customers and Development team throughout the development process to write user requirements, test cases, UX design and other content to represent customer requirements using defined design methods
• Undertake product and business process configuration to develop robust solutions that delight our customer
• Develop reporting and analytics functionality that support the delivery of our solutions
• Contribute to the design of new features, and work with the Development team to break the design down for manufacture
• Participate in workshops with internal and external Customers to confirm the product design meets customer requirements
• Conduct Business Acceptance Testing that ensure that the software is of sufficient quality and stability to proceed with further downstream testing
• Conduct functional QA and regression testing from time to time
• Work with the Product Success team to develop required enablement content to support the rollout and adoption of Product by both our internal and external Customers
• Participate in presentations and forums to inform and educate stakeholders in new product features

• Demonstrated experience with SQL, ETL, Database maintenance procedures and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Strong experience in creating solutions from pre-existing enterprise components, including business processes, ETLs, reporting and analytics
• Amazing communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for assisting customers and communicating in a professional manner
• An ability to energetically leverage modern technology including experience with enterprise software architectures and deployment models, and emerging technologies
• A strong ability to assimilate new information and accurately convey instructions and ideas over a variety of media
• Team-oriented and eager to continuously learn and expand your knowledge of the TechnologyOne Products
• Solid presentation skills and experienced at facilitating stakeholder workshops and group discussions
• Education and Student Management experience highly regarded.
