Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in capturing requirements, defining functional and non-functional requirements, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have understanding of full stack development, API development as well as a solid understanding of AWS services.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, developers, and project managers, to gather and document detailed business requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications.
Analysis and Documentation: Analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and document requirements clearly and comprehensively.
Agile Methodology: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure requirements are well-understood and followed throughout the development cycle.
Technical Expertise: Utilise your knowledge of full stack development to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility of requirements.
Solution Design: Collaborate with the development team to design solutions that meet business needs, considering both functional and non-functional aspects. Create design diagrams such as flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, and others to visually represent the solution.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, manage expectations, and address any concerns or changes in requirements.
Quality Assurance: Assist in the creation and execution of test plans to ensure that the delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and quality standards.
Documentation: Produce high-quality documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong experience in capturing and defining functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Knowledge of full stack development, preferably using Node.js and React.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
