Location: Sydney
Salary: Circa $200k + super + bonus

Overview
Mission Critical Recruitment are looking for a technical subject matter expert on data centre facilities to perform a key role in our client's data centre operations in APAC. 

Working directly for the owner/operator of hyperscale data centres, in a newly created team, you will lead audits and analysis of existing operations, along with investigating major incidents across the portfolio. Doing a technical deep dive, you will perform root cause analysis and work closely with internal engineering teams to provide long term solutions to ensure ongoing robustness to all data centre live operations.

Key Requirements

• Mechanical or electrical engineer with a strong holistic understanding of mechanical, electrical, BMS and related.
• Extensive experience of live data centre operations
• Commissioning experience would be highly regarded.
• Very technically minded with the proven ability to perform root cause analysis of MEP system faults.
• Ability to travel (not extensively)
• Australian Citizenship is required as you will need to gain security clearance for this position.
