SalaryRandstad Data is currently working with a State Government Department to find a Technical Lead to join a high-profile, multi-year program to deliver a modern technology platform utilising Microsoft. This is an 18-month initial contract with the strong opportunity to extend based in Brisbane’s CBD with minimum 3 days in the office.
The Role:
This role is pivotal to lead the development and review of technical designs, ensuring end-to-end solutions meet departmental requirements. It involves engaging with external vendors and stakeholders, providing technical leadership and assisting with support and troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities include:
- Technical expertise and guidance across firewalls, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and DevOps pipelines.
- Strategic decision making and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders
- Success in identifying and implementing process improvements for operational
- Providing decision support - contributing to informed decision-making through insightful analysis.
- Documentation and Reporting: Proficient in documenting analysis findings and presenting them clearly.
- Demonstrated experience with firewalls (preferably Palo Alto, F5), proxies, Microsoft Active Directory, on-prem and cloud services (AWS/Azure), Microsoft Server Operating Systems, virtual machines, SOE, and virtual desktops.
- Experience in integrating and consuming Azure platform services using Pipelines, Dataverse, and Power Apps Flows.
- Comprehensive understanding of DevOps pipeline, release and environment management in an Agile delivery environment.
- Experience with Linux-based applications and environment management.
- Project experience in upgrading, quarantining, developing, and decommissioning business applications.
- Plan and design Azure API and associated data platform solutions.
- Deliver proof of concept variants to prospective customers.
- Undertake requirements analysis and solution architecture design.
- Lead application architecture and data platform design.
