A fantastic opportunity exists for a Water TreatmentTechnical Manager in Melbourne. Within this role you will provide technical leadership and support to business development, projects, and operations in Water Treatment. Your remit will include drinking water, wastewater and industrial Water Treatment.

What you'll be responsible for
- Undertaking technical assessments, developing concept designs, technical specifications and scope of works for tender processes.
- Technically evaluating tender responses.
- Reviewing detailed designs and participating in design workshops, including safety in design workshops such as HAZOPs, FMEAs, O&M reviews, etc.
- Promoting best practice and innovation via knowledge sharing amongst local and global teams.
- Ensuring compliance and quality standards.
- Aligning technical guidance with Commercial and Project Management.
- Supporting the vision of an inclusive and innovative company.
- Building strong working relationships with operations, business development, team members and external stakeholders.
- Contributing positively towards Veolia’s ecological transformation purpose.
What you'll need to be successful
- Excellent stakeholder management skills (internal and external customers)
- Degree in Engineering in Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with Water Treatment processes design, operations and management
- Significant experience in technical management of industrial processes.
- Knowledge of project management standards and technical standards relevant to the fields of Water Treatment and project delivery.
