About the Role Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Technical Officer plays an important role in providing comprehensive Technical and Parts Interpretation support to Honda's Motorcycle (MC), Power Equipment (PE) & Marine dealer networks.
The Technical Officer must also ensure the telephone contact line is attended and answered at all times, in a prompt and efficient manner and that any follow-up required is provided within an appropriate time frame. This is a Permanent Full-Time Opportunity! How you’ll make an impact Provide comprehensive Technical service information to the Dealer Networks and Customer base, ensuring necessary assistance is given to enable them carry out effective servicing and repair of any Honda product as required.
Provide Parts Interpretation support to the Dealer Networks. Assist with provision of accurate and concise Technical assistance to the Consumer and Dealer network, via phone queue, service bulletins or personal dealer visits.
Assist Retail Business Managers (RBM) & Territory Managers (TM) with replacement parts and accessories related inquiries and ensure that all requests are followed up in a timely manner. Ensure Dealer / Customer Complaints and Queries are resolved within the shortest possible time frame and that Customer Relationship Management database is maintained and up to date at all times. What you’ll bring to Honda Demonstrated ability to understand technical product issues, supported by a mechanical trade qualification or technical experience in a similar position. Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means. Excellent computer literacy.
