Lower Murray Water (LMW) is a water corporation providing services to around 80,000 urban and rural customers along the Murray River. About the role:
LMW's Infrastructure Services Department has commenced delivery of 5 years of capital works worth more than $100M, and we are seeking new passionate and driven people to be a part of this exciting program. With roles across our Land Development, Infrastructure Planning and Projects team, we will support you to thrive in a career at LMW.
This role of Technical Officer Land Development provides technical advice to customers of LMW on subdivision matters relating to water supply, sewerage, irrigation and drainage.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical advice to customers of LMW on subdivision matters relating to water supply, sewerage, irrigation and drainage.
- Investigate, prepare written reports, develop agreements and calculate development fees and charges.
- Provide inspection and technical direction where required during construction of developments under the Developer Design Construct model.
- Review ITP’s, CCTV, Compaction and Pressure Tests results to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Contributing to a safety orientated culture and ensuring the safety and quality of execution activities.

About you:
We require self-motivated people who are safety conscious looking to work in a fast-paced team environment. To be successful in these roles, you would ideally have some of the following;
- Experienced tradesperson, engineer or project manager or other relevant experience in the civil construction, electrical or water industry.
- An analytical thinker with experience in delivering innovative technical solutions and an eye for detail
- Good communication skills and an ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of how you work in a safe and effective manner
