Technical Officer

The Manildra Group is a major force in Australia's agricultural and food industries. Manildra is the largest user of wheat for industrial purposes in Australia and also refines the entire New South Wales sugar crop. The Manildra Group is a leading supplier of raw ingredients to the food, beverage, confectionery and paper producing industries.

Manildra is the world's 9th largest flour mill. Our three large, modern flour mills in Manildra, Narrandera and Gunnedah produce wheaten flour products for the Australian and overseas markets. 

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this key role offers an excellent opportunity to secure your career with an Australian-owned Company committed to complete customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will be working with a dedicated laboratory team and will focus on process analysis and optimisation of wheat usage at Manildra Flour Mills.

You must be able to display experience in the following areas:

• Developing new analytical tests;
• Continual calibration of laboratory equipment;
• Managing statistical programs;
• Good understanding of process and experimentation protocols;
• Proven ability effectively communicate with all levels of personnel;
• Commitment to WHS;
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.

Formal qualifications in Science, Engineering or a similar field are desirable.

To succeed in this role, you will be a highly organised self-starter who is attentive to tasks and always displays a strong work ethic.
