Our client is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our talented and collaborative team on a full-time basis during an exciting time of business transformation and growth.
About the Role
This exciting role sits within our Solution Delivery Team which oversees the technical delivery of building, deploying, and migrating customers' environments in line with their specific needs. As Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of technical solutions to achieve agreed customer success outcomes. You will have exposure to customer environments across a broad range of industries and be primarily responsible for delivering high-quality project delivery outcomes to our valued customers through both projects and short engagements. You will also work closely with our Sales and Pre-sales teams to autonomously plan the delivery of solutions (including scheduling, change management, and resource coordination) whilst leveraging your peer network and other key stakeholders to produce and maintain best-practice standards in the delivery of Technical Project solutions.
To be successful in this role you must be responsive, innovative, and have a passion for delivering IT solutions in accordance with best practice principles. You must have excellent attention to detail, be extremely organised, have strong coordination and communication skills, be able to think on their feet and outside of the box, show initiative and work collaboratively. Ideally, you will have a strong general technical understanding of I.T.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical IT project management role delivering on complex and Technical Projects
- Ability to tailor program/project planning approaches to meet required outcomes
- Well-developed scheduling, budgeting, and reporting skills
- Experience with operational change planning, resolving complex risks and issues and the successful delivery of agreed priorities and objectives
- Have a genuine passion for achieving high-quality outcomes
- A flexible approach and customer-centric attitude
- Able to work across multiple projects and self-manage a project queue
- Common sense and strong problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under your own initiative
- Experience delivering successful ICT projects
- Amazing communication and relationship-building skills
Desired skills/Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience with various project management frameworks and ideally hold one or more industry recognised certifications in project management such as Prince2, Agile, or Diploma of Project Management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of management techniques and frameworks, such as ITIL
- Experience using Connectwise
