About your new role:
The Project Manager will lead IT projects, focusing on the implementation and integration of AWS and Databricks solutions. The role involves liaising between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring that IT solutions are delivered effectively and align with business goals. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and an understanding of cloud services and data analytics platforms.
- Oversee the delivery of IT projects from initiation to closure. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Act as the primary liaison between IT teams, clients, and internal stakeholders. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and manage expectations.
- Develop implementation strategies that leverage modern technology capabilities to meet business needs. Guide the configuration, deployment, and integration of these technologies.
- Lead and support project teams, including architects, developers, and analysts. Facilitate collaboration and provide direction.
- Monitor the effectiveness of current projects and processes. Recommend improvements based on the latest advancements and industry best practices.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within IT sectors, specifically with experience managing cloud-based technology projects.
- Experience with AWS and Databricks platforms prefferred. Certifications in AWS or Databricks are preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficient in project management software and tools. Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
