About the role
As the Technical Risk and Governance Officer you will assist the head of technology in supporting the technology Risk and controls reporting and Governance functions for the company.
The Technical Risk and Governance Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Build and maintain the controls matrix in alignment with multiple compliance frameworks and standards, GRC System
- Prepare compliance reports and status reports, identify issues, and report to senior management
- Assist with various ICT internal and external application assessments, and their responses and remediation efforts
- Assist with various ICT internal and external audits, and their responses and remediation efforts
- Understand impact of vendor assessments and documentation of technology risk procedures
The successful Technical Risk and Governance Officer have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar technology Risk and Governance role
- Experience in third party risk management and vendors, compliance and assurance activities
- Comprehensive understanding of appropriate ICT risk management techniques, controls and assurance standards, frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge and experience with information and security processes, concepts, and best practice
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external teams.
