About the role:
- Reporting directly to the COO this role will see you working across the business's Sales and Servicing/Technical arms.
- You will be managing a team of five technical staff including Electricians and Support Technicians and a Leading Hand.
- Whilst managing the service team you will also be responsible for building relationships with new and existing clients to expand the servicing departments revenue.
- Being a point of escalation for clients you will be comfortable in both a professional and technical conversation with the ability to problem solve and offer support both internally and externally.
- You will be regularly out in front of both private and government clients maintaining the companies professional and knowledgeable reputation
- Managing staff spread across NSW, VIC, QLD and NZ you will be part of the companies passionate senior leadership team.
About you:
- You will have a technical mindset with the ability to fault-find and service mobile plant/capital equipment.
- Aviation or Transportation industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Proven experience managing a team of technical staff - remotely is a bonus.
- Strong general business acumen including quoting, proposals, tenders, ordering and invoicing.
- Traveling across Australia and New Zealand is required to meet staff and clients.
