Operating from a new 3000m2 facility opposite Stud Park in Rowville Melbourne.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Internal Technical Sales Person to join the team.

Persons with appropriate sales experience in Industrial Vacuum (pumps) and or process technology including HVAC (refrigeration tools) could well flourish in this environment. 

The primary purpose of this position is to support and maintain customers, plus assisting and supporting the overall sales team. You will communicate and negotiate with customers, support suppliers and be required to generate and maintain business dealing with buyers and endusers in research, industrial, medical OE and HVAC wholesale & trade. 

Typically, but not limited to; assisting customers making decisions about product applications, such as micro liquid or vacuum pumps for medical research, explosion proof pumps for hydrogen pumping, portable or commercially installed refrigerant recovery, tools for HVAC technicians, research HV pumps for laboratories, leak detection equipment such as helium or hydrogen, analytic applications such as UHV or gas analysis, yes, diverse applications and above all interesting.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager some of your responsibilities include: 
 

• Technical Sales Support
• Planning and seeking new opportunities
• Preparing and producing quotes
• Entering orders 
processing invoices
• Answering phones and customer enquiries
• Responding to enquiries relating to all products
• Attending trade shows
• Supporting suppliers 
• Working with colleagues well on all different levels
 
• Resolving solution based enquiries
• Marketing initiatives

About you:- 

To be successful in this role you will have 5 + year’s experience in a technical sale related position, ideally in vacuum or HVAC, additionally, you will have a current drivers licence and you will be computer literate. 

You must be someone who is well-presented, has an excellent phone manner and communication ability a strong technical bias and who can speak English fluently. Clearly you must be good at sales!

• Trades person or Engineer with technical hunger looking of a challenge in a vibrate industry.
• Of course some with the relevant knowhow would be ideal
• Mature (experienced) person seeking flexible hours (part time options)
