About The Role:
The position of Technical Simulation Officer assists in the maintenance of the learning area and works with the subject Teachers and Leading Educators to provide support for practical sessions.
The position is engaged in a variety of quality assurance activities, which include design audits for and maintenance of hardware in teaching locations related to services provided by the assigned learning area.
This role has a strong focus of support to all staff engaged in teaching (or otherwise assisting) students undertaking the courses offered within BKI and will directly be responsible for implementing technical aspects of testing and procedural matters relating to the learning area.
The position operates with moderate independence but consults with the Education Manager and professional staff on very difficult or unusual aspects of the work. All these tasks are undertaken with a focus on ensuring the health safety and wellbeing of all staff and students.

- Trade Qualifications and experience in relevant discipline is desirable.
- Extensive experience in preparation of classroom practicals, manufacture of teaching aids and maintenance of equipment.
