AddressTechnical Specification Manager - Scoresby VIC The OpportunityAn amazing opportunity for an experienced Technical Specification Manager is available within our Construction Systems Business Unit based in Scoresby VIC.As the Technical Specification Manager, you will provide the architectural and design community with advice and support across the Construction Systems (CS) portfolio of segments, while developing and maintaining a close connection with architects, consultants, certifiers, and designers to win and grow specification across CS segments. Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with Architects, Designers, Engineers, and Builder Design specifiers to acquire and retain CS product and system specifications for projectsFoster and sustain robust business relationships with architectural and engineering firms, gaining insight into their present and future project needsOffer technical support to customers, architects, engineers, and internal sales to effectively address customer requirementsConduct product training sessions, including CPD or seminar series, to educate architects, specifiers, and industry participants about the performance of CS products, comparing them to competing products and systemsDevelop and execute a specification project pipeline to contribute to sales growthWork in tandem with the state sales team to meet or exceed sales targetsFollow up and support the sales team in the handover of specified projects, utilizing the CRM process to close salesEnsure the distribution and upkeep of relevant Architectural marketing materials with key customers and target stakeholdersAdhere to WHSE authorities as outlined in the responsibilities matrix About YouKnowledge of building and construction systems. Demonstrated experience - consultative selling experience with proven track recordAt least 2 years' experience of architectural constructions specification industry or 4 years' experience in related tradeDemonstrate a track record of identifying new construction projects, and a proven ability to influence the specifier to use CS systems and ensure those specifications stickAn ability to grasp the technical application of CS products and match them to solutions the clients are trying to solveTechnical qualifications are desirableDemonstrate an ability to work with technical solutions and develop rapport with clients so that they feel that CS can come up with better solutions for their projectsExperience preparing, performing presentations and public speakingProject and time management skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
