About the role
We are looking for a Technical Services Manager to join the growing team on a permanent full-time basis reporting to the State Rural Products Manager.
Our Technical Services Managers help to support and deliver technical training activities, coordinate national trials and demonstrations, attend industry extension programs, support our teams with new product development, guide and educate our graduate agronomists and graduate programs, coordinate focus groups in different cropping segments, answer technical product and service questions and or enquiries, give feedback into the state and national teams on a wide range of matter all in an aim to increase capability to assist Elders in meeting client requirements and achieve results.
Responsibilities
- Executes and manages best practice processes for Elders Technical Services across the State
About you
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Agronomy role(s)
- Understanding of marketing, pricing and product ranging
- Understanding and memberships of industry groups and influences
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem solving skills
- Ability to coach, mentor and upskill different levels of employees
- Presentation skills
- Sound computer skills
- Knowledge of Elders products and range an advantage
- Solid financial acumen
- Degree in business or agricultural discipline or significant relevant experience.
