About the role - Technical Support Officer

- Based in Brisbane Eastern Suburbs
We are searching for a talented and dedicated individual to join our expanding Technical Division in a supporting role.
Based in the Eastern Brisbane suburbs and reporting to the Quality and Technical Advisor, your role will be to support the business as follows:
- Creating tailored lighting solutions
- Phone support to handle incoming technical phone enquiries.
- Ad hoc training on the phone to sales staff and/or customers
- Testing of faulty equipment & testing of new products
- Assisting with paperwork and documentation for warranties.
- Soldering of LED strip products
- Assisting the QC & Technical Advisor with external training for sales staff and customers.
Your skills, experience and personal attributes
- Previous Electrical experience / knowledge preferred
- Electronics background an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in the lighting industry
- Soldering capability an advantage
- LED strip knowledge
- Electrical installation knowledge and experience
- High attention to detail & problem-solving ability.
- Good time management
- Customer service & phone skills
- Can work autonomously.
- Self-motivated
