About the opportunity:
Our client is actively seeking Technical Trainers to join their team serving mine sites located in Western Australia. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Heavy Diesel Fitter or an Auto Electrician
- Dual trade advantageous, however not essential
- Relevant tickets associated with trade qualification
Experience with the below machines highly regarded:
- HD785-7/ HD1500-8
- 830E-5/ 930E-5 Electrical
- 830E-5/930E-5 Mechanical
- WA600-8/ WA900-8/ WA1200
- D375/ D475
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions for technical staff working on mine sites.
- Provide hands-on training and theoretical knowledge related to the maintenance & repair of heavy machinery.
- Develop training materials and resources to support effective learning.
- Assess trainee competency and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to address specific training needs and challenges.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and incorporate relevant changes into training programs.
Skills & requirements:
- Strong technical expertise in heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to tailor training programs to suit varying skill levels and learning styles.
- Patience and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety standards.
- Flexibility to travel to different mine sites within Western Australia.
