About the role (job overview)

·         Become one of the main product knowledge specialists within the company

·         Produce technical, user and administrator documentation for each product release

·         Develop and maintain product documentation covering the entire product suite

·         Review, update and maintain existing documentation to ensure it is consistent with the latest product release

·         Work closely with all teams to ensure produced documentation can be used to aid the development of additional content, such as training and LMS material

·         Translate technical jargon from software developers into appropriate language for our target audience

Key deliverables and responsibilities

·         Knowledge

•          Obtain and maintain a complete knowledge of the product suite

·         Technical Documentation

•          Development of technical release notes

•          Development and maintenance of external API documentation

•          Development and maintenance of administration guides

·         User Documentation

•          Development of general user release notes

•          Development of general user guides

•          Development of admin user guides

·         Product Documentation

•          Development and maintenance of highly detailed product documentation to be used by internal and external stakeholders

·         Internal Documentation

•          Development and maintenance of internal documentation such as FAQs to aid in interdepartmental knowledge sharing

·         Documentation Control

•          Responsibility to ensure quality of documentation is maintained

•          Ownership of the internal WIKI or document control system

·         Collaboration

•          Work with the development team members to ensure documentation is capture accurately

•          Work with test team members to allow test plans to be developed off produced documentation

•          Work with implementation team members to ensure required documentation is available

•          Work with clinical team members to allow training and LMS material to be developed off produced documentation

Qualifications and/or experience required

Essential:

·         Relevant bachelor degree with a strong focus on English language written word

·         3 years experience in the areas of Technical Writer and/ or copy writer

·         Excellent written and verbal communication

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Experience working with technical teams and translating technical jargon

Highly desirable:

·         Experience working with non-technical stakeholders such as clinicians

·         Experience with UX design or best practice

·         Software development background

• Expected salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year
