This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer to join an expanding organisation who are known for their Advanced Technology Solutions. This company provides safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible services in the defence industry. This is a fully on-site, permanent position based in the S/E suburbs, and you will become an integral member of the team in defence and delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for an opportunity to get a foot in the door with defence. No previous defence experience is required.
Your new role
The role is an integral member of the engineering team. You will be across creation, maintenance and control of documentation including manuals, user guides and training documentation.
Key Responsibilities;
- Ensure documentation is inline with ATA100 requirements and customer requirements.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ensure all documents are maintained
- Undertake additional activities by management
- Liaise with the wider team as well as suppliers to develop product features and functionality
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in Technical writing, creating and maintenance
- Understanding of Word, CorelDraw, Quicksilver or similar
- ISO9001/ AS9100 Quality Systems
- Understanding of aviation public standards (desirable)
