About the role
Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Planning, you will play a crucial role in creating clear and concise documentation for various technical products, processes, and systems. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to transform complex information into user-friendly.
The position is based at our Osborne Park Head offices working Monday-Friday on a Fixed term 6-month contract with a view to extension.
- Develop comprehensive and user-friendly manuals and guides for products to enhance user understanding and experience.
- Produce detailed technical specifications that communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Design and update training materials, including presentations and manuals, to support internal and external training programs.
- Development of SWIs to ensure consistency and efficiency in processes across the organization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and product managers, to gather information and ensure accurate documentation.
- Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to style guides.
- Responsible for the delivery of own results and behaviours in support of MRL achieving its strategy
- Maintain respectful, effective, cohesive, & reciprocal working relationships with all stakeholders both internal & external to MRL ensuring responsibilities, targets & results are successfully achieved.
- Support, mentor & develop individuals in appropriate ways that develop trust, high levels of engagement & empowerment & enable individuals to provide their best efforts.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (desirable)
- Relevant mechanical equipment experience
- Minimum 5 years’ asset maintenance management or a previously similar role including;
- Integrated business management systems
- Australian standards, legislative frameworks for asset management, the mining & construction industries
- Compliance & quality assurance
- Auditing business management systems
- Experience & ability to manage medium sized projects & understand logistical challenges
- Excellent safety awareness
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment achieving organisational objectives
