The leisure industry, particularly Caravans & the RV industry have been booming for the last 5 years with no signs of slowing down. Many of your skills are transferable across both industries. We offer full on the job training leading to obtaining a CERTIFICATE III in Caravan Repairs, Service & Maintenance. Qualifications & experience
- No previous industry specific experience necessary but a good mechanical aptitude is a must
- Previous trade qualification or experience in building, plumbing, electrical, auto electrical, mechanical or alike would all be an advantage
- Experience with hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, sheers, grinders, welders, pan brake, guillotine and general mechanical tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work alone and in a team.
- Self motivated
- Possess good time management skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- General Service & Repair to caravans, motorhomes and trailers including periodic and scheduled servicing
- Electrical diagnosis of faults 12v systems (240v systems with training)
- General repairs to components of caravans including mechanical, wheels, hubs, brakes, bearings, axles, suspension and couplings
- Installation of accessories such as heaters, fans, electronic upgrades, bike racks, audio systems and others (all on job training)
- Assist smash repair team with assembly and disassembly of damaged caravans (all on job training)
- Welding and fabrication work
- Repairs and maintenance to appliances (on job training)
- Work with the OH&S officer to maintain a safe workplace
- Support the new caravan Pre Delivery team with preparing caravans for delivery to their buyers.

Salary is negotiable depending on the skill set of the applicant.
