Job Description
The role of the Technology Operations Billing and Contracts Manager is to provide a high level of specialist support to the MedHealth Technology team. The role will report to the EGM of Technology Operations.
Examples of where you will support the team are; owning the billing lifecycle, technology contracts, Telco billing, digital certifications, domains and licences, as well as making sure that all budgetary requirements are being met.
Do you have an analytical mindset and love a bit of trend analysis, finding savings, reporting and communicating clearly to a mixed audience?
If you have a minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role, and have worked closely with the likes of Telstra, Microsoft, Cisco and HP that will be an advantage.
Qualifications
At a minimum, what experience and skills do you need to be successful in this role?
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities
- You have worked in high growth businesses, with high volumes of data & information and ever changing needs
- You can recognise trends and identify conflicting / incorrect data and communicate this clearly and effectively
- Exceptional attention-to-detail
- Ability to manage vendor meetings and drive outcomes
- A passion to identify new and improved ways to provide information
- Some people management capability, as it is likely that this role may have one direct report

- You will work closely with the finance and accounts payable teams to make sure accounts are paid on time and to budget
- You will provide clear reporting via simple concise dashboards
- You are always looking for cost savings opportunities
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- Oversee costs, establish financial service reporting, ensuring associated processes can/are operating within expected thresholds
- Tracking IT spend and ensure any uplift or reductions in OPEX is tracked and recorded
- Ensuring strong governance, contract management and procurement processes are operated
- Where appropriate, you will lead or be a key player in contract negotiation process for IT, including the negotiation strategy, RFP process, value identification and performance against the agreed contract post signing
