Our outbound subscription sales unit is on the hunt for a future Team Leader. We are looking for someone who will guide and nurture a cohesive team of outbound sales agents. Your primary focus will be driving print and digital subscription opportunities with prospective and existing customers. This role requires you to be able to work within the hours of 11am-7pm Monday to Thursday, and 9-5pm Fridays.
About the Role
- Supporting and motivating our sales team to reach their daily sales goals
- Coaching and mentoring sales consultants to handle objections to close sales and meet campaign KPIs
- Educating agents about our products and services and showing them how to persuasively present the offers and benefits
- Managing the sales pipeline, roster and agent work flow to meet targeted service levels
- Call monitoring to identify areas for improvement and deliver training and feedback
- Championing positive culture and engagement to drive high sales performance
- Contribute to the team’s success by conducting outbound calls to potential and existing customers
About You
- Previous telemarketing or telesales experience will be highly regarded but not essential
- A confident people person with a positive can-do attitude and growth mindset
- Demonstrated experience achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, with exceptional phone manner and active listening skills
- Tech savvy and/or have previous experience working with a CRM system
- Ability to work within the hours of 11-7pm Monday to Thursday, and 9-5pm Fridays
