- The manager is responsible for the management and development of the SCHHS Telecommunications and Switchboard team to ensure:
- 24x7 health service wide switchboard services are provided
- End user telephony requirements are fulfilled
- Telephony and switchboard incidents are managed to a successful conclusion
- Stakeholders (including vendors) are partnered with to deliver optimum solutions in a sustainable manner
- Provide high level HR, budgetary and leadership expertise, decision making and support in a large complex environment by interpreting and complying with departmental standards, policies, procedures and health service processes.
- Provide support to the Telecommunications Administration Coordinator (Rostering) to operationalise the 24/7 Switchboard staff roster with understanding of the union approved roster, operational need, staff training and equity and consideration for budgetary and industrial requirements.
- Lead significant HR projects, including the review of business practices and initiatives aligned with SCHHS telecommunications business needs.
