Temp Junior Office Assistant / General All Rounder

Sparky Nearby is looking for a short term Temp Junior Office Assistant/all-rounder to join our work fam for 9 weeks (22nd Apr - 21st June) with the opportunity for more work after this. When we say work family, we really mean it. We're a close-knit team and we're looking for someone with the same core values to work with us.
 

Who Are We?

Sparky Nearby is a small (but quickly growing) electrical company based in Rosebery which has been servicing the electrical needs of the eastern suburbs for over 8 years under the current management.

What We Need

• Someone with a bubbly, positive can-do attitude who is eager to help our company whilst our fab Office Assistant Soph is over in Europe. Other than that, being able to use a computer and make a phone call is about all the prerequisites we need! Everything else will be trained on the job with Sophie for the first two weeks.

• Basically, we are looking for a Temp Junior Office all-rounder to help out for 4-5 days a week (your call but 5 would be great), carrying out general tasks.

WHAT DOES THE JOB LOOK LIKE?

Computer literacy skills and a good phone manner are a must as a typical day will involve:

• Answering phone calls,
• Using our simple job management system,
• Responding to emails,
• Using Microsoft word
• Ordering office supplies,
• Paying bills,
• Making social media posts
• Following up customers on their jobs.
• Running Errands

You'll be expected to tackle these tasks with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude but will always have the full support of both your manager and the other technicians if you have any questions on how to do a task.
