About the Opportunity
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective payroll processing activities and day to day operation of the end-to-end accounts payable processing activities in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with external compliance frameworks and internal policies.
The role is temporary, based in our West Perth corporate office on a Monday – Friday roster. We believe in balancing life and work and are happy to support flexible working arrangements including working from home options.
About You
- You have strong bookkeeping skills and previous experience working in a similar role in an exploration and/or mining industry.
- You are passionate about building and maintaining critical internal and external relationships across multiple functions with an ability to give effective practical advice and propose practical solutions.
- You have end to end experience using PRONTO and sound proficiency in the use of MS Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- You have an ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with strong organisation skills and an eye for detail.
This position means you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate with diplomacy, tact, and discretion and to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels with respect and confidence.
Completion or working towards a Diploma and/or Certificate in Business and/or Accounting/Finance is advantageous, but not essential.
