Temporary Senior Accountant

Immediate Temp role: full-time position in the Western suburbs with a global organisation.

Your new role 
A rare and exciting opportunity has opened up in their Head Office for a Senior Accountant. Working closely with the Regional Financial Controller, you will manage the financial reporting and board presentations and balance sheet integrity. Specific duties include:

• Managing the financial reporting process
• Balance sheet reconciliations, including variance and trend analysis
• Board pack presentations
• Point of contact for internal and external audit
• Managing the banking system

What you'll need to succeed 
CA or CPA qualified accountant. Your practical skills will include:

• Experienced working for a complex sizeable company, ideally within a distribution or product-related company
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, including financial reporting
• Technical competency, AASB and IFRS
• Outstanding communication skills and confident liaising with internal / external stakeholders
• Ability to understand and manipulate data using your strong Excel skills
• A working knowledge of working with large ERP’s
