About the role
We are looking for a Bid Lead to manage the submissions of a bid from pre-qualification to contract award and acceptance.
Reporting to the Manager, Business Winning, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation and submission of bids that satisfy customer requirements. Working within our multi-disciplinary team of business development, capture management and solution development specialists, you will also be actively involved in our pipeline of opportunities as we deliver our business strategy through tactical plans and actions.
Working at one of our Regional Support Centres in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra - success will be achieved by fulfilling the following responsibilities, (but not limited too):
- Providing bid team leadership, mentoring and support;
- Developing and maintaining the bid plan (including work scope, roles and responsibilities);
- Developing and maintaining the bid budget and schedule;
- Identifying, securing, assigning and managing resources;
- Identifying and co-ordinating inputs from specialists and subject matter experts;
- Implementing the agreed win strategy;
- Contribute to story boarding, proposal structure and content creation;
- Complying with the company’s governance, assurance and risk frameworks;
- Managing and resolving bid risks and issues;
About you
You will have experience in leading complex bids. You will also possess the following attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in sciences, engineering, project management, business, finance or humanities.
- More than three years of work experience in strategy, business development, capture management, business winning, engineering and/or project management.
- More than three years of work experience in defence, aviation, emergency services, infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, shipbuilding and/or adjacent industries.
