The Company
Our client is a leading international provider of safety and medical equipment and is seeking a talented and competent Contracts & Tenders Manager to join this well established and growing business.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Customer Delivery & Business Excellence Manager, (great mentoring), this role will keep you busy, challenged, learning, and contributing!
The Tenders and Contracts Manager oversees the tendering process from the identification of opportunities through to the submission of Bids.
Management of the contract negotiations, administration post-award, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements are all necessary comp[onents of the role. This opportunity requires a team player who comes from a technical environment, is a strategic thinker with outstanding organisational and communication skills, and who can work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
The Successful Tenders and Contracts Manager?
Attitude, outlook and mindset are all critical, and the successful candidate will back these up with:
- Study in Contract Law or business is a bonus.
- Strong and effective stakeholder engagement; experience on collaborating with multiple business units.
- 3-5 plus years’ experience in a Contracts and Tenders management position would be ideal.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- A high level of compliance and attention to detail.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills.
- Be highly organised, have a positive attitude and a sense of urgency.
- Leadership experience to support and develop the Contracts and Tenders Coordinator.
