This is a great opportunity for a proactive and energetic Key Account Manager to join carsales mediahouse. Put simply, the carsales mediahouse team represent “anything in the mobility sector" along with aftersales, finance, insurance, retail and FMCG clients who are wanting to reach a rich Australian audience. We are evolving our offering to deliver on full funnel ambitions. We are evolving our targeting from cookies to people. We are evolving from a “car portal” to a true marketing partner regardless of your needs.

You will be building relationships with our current clients as well as developing and fostering relationships with new contacts. If you are results driven, we need you to come in and take responsibility for growing business across carsales mediahouse. You’ll be growing revenue through business development, managing pipelines, account management and development.

Job Description

What’ll you’ll be doing

  • Understand and share expertise in managing relationships with our key media agencies but also going out and building relationships with new agencies and clients directly.
  • You will be the key point of contact for any marketing and advertising needs. You will be meeting with clients to discuss new opportunities, products, marketing and advertising.
  • Develop and support solutions that deliver growth of revenue across the carsales mediahouse suite. You will be generating and cultivating new business leads and opportunities. You’ll build and manage pipelines for potential business prospects and develop a clear plan for continuous and sustainable growth.
  • Demonstrate understanding, motivations and expertise in gathering data, insights, results and anything else you need to create engaging and moving presentations to be delivered to prospective and current clients.
  • Coordinate all elements of campaigns to ensure that every client’s campaign is delivered to the best of its ability and that all advertiser expectations are met.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for?

  • Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
  • You’ll come with a track record achieving sales targets and a strong understanding of Digital, Agency and/or Media. An interest or experience in a similar industry would be great but isn’t a must have.
  • Experience in media or automotive, finance & insurance sales would be highly regarded. 
  • A confident communicator who can build sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developed relationships with top tier media agencies will be highly sought after.
  • An articulate communicator who can create and deliver engaging and influential presentations to variety of audiences on all levels.
