THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the General Manager of Solutions Development and based at our Port Melbourne Office in VIC, the Customer Continuous Improvement Manager will drive proactive initiatives to improve performance/efficiency/cost savings across targeted key customers and drive deeper more collaborative relationships.
They will contribute to Project Management of various change initiatives as required and uphold a Continuous Improvement mindset, constantly looking for improvement opportunities and seeking areas to enhance performance and deliver efficiencies.
As a Customer Continuous Improvements Manager, you will be directly responsible for:
- Drive, manage and track targeted customer facing change initiatives and CI programs
- Stakeholder Management
- Analyse business processes and conduct root cause analyses to address problems, bottlenecks, inefficiencies and identify non-value-adding tasks
- Support Key Account Managers and where required, present/represent at customer Quarterly Business Reviews
- Identify new reporting and business insights to help drive decisions
- Support the deployment of best practices identified/implemented
- Provide constructive feedback and foster the promotion of team ideas
- Provide training and coaching to team
- Develop reporting and tracking metrics to benefits programs and customers
- Support new customer onboarding through project participation and Management where required
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10 years’ experience in large-scale/ complex warehousing, preferably within a 3PL
- A strong affinity for logistics systems (WMS, TMS etc) and analytical and data driven
- Proficient in using Excel and Microsoft. PowerBi (Advantageous)
- Experience in providing customers with end-to-end supply chain solutions (Advantageous)
- Project management experience and capability
- Strong and genuine interpersonal and relationship building skills
- An understanding of Lean Six Sigma practices (Beneficial)
