We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our Novalac Infant Formula Sales team and achieve sales objectives through Paediatric Health Care Professionals (HCPs) within hospitals and the paediatric community in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.
In this role, you will report to the Novalac Sales Manager, and be primarily focused on establishing relationships with key customers and building your territory database. Responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with Specialist Paediatric HCPs to identify needs, present product and supporting clinical information and training.
- Identifying and building relationships with relevant Key External Experts (KEE)
- Territory planning – using data to effectively analyse, plan, identify and target relevant HCPs on your territory
- Driving sales growth and quarterly cycle objectives on assigned territory
- Implementing sales strategies and activities to promote products to HCPs, in order to influence end user purchase
- Working cross-functionally with Aspen’s OTC pharmacy and RX GP teams to support sales goals
- Representing Aspen and the Novalac brand at medical conferences & events
- Maintaining the CRM system
About You:
To succeed in this environment you must be self-motivated, with the ability to “cold call”, establish relationships and develop new business. In addition:
- Knowledge of the specialist paediatric environment is essential, with some training/experience in nutrition highly regarded
- Experience in building and influencing a network of health care professionals
- Demonstrable experience in creating territory plans resulting in growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and create rapport with a variety of people
- Tertiary qualifications in a nutrition, science or nursing discipline highly regarded
