At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe.Position SummaryThe key objective of this role is to support the IPT Reprocessing division in achieving sales targets, goals and objectives; to aid in achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning; and to support customers with clinical expertise to enable optimal patient outcomes.DutiesDevelop and implement territory sales plans to achieve targets and business objectivesBuild and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and all other clinical and non-clinical stakeholders within the territoryConduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate healthcare providers on the benefits of the productsKeep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and drive growthCollaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service and clinical support to ensure successful product launches and effective customer supportAnalyse sales data and market insights to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as neededMeet or exceed sales quota and achieve other key performance indicators as established by the companyTravel as necessary within specific geographic territory to optimize product exposure and penetration. Travel should be in conjunction with established call activity, account management functions, achieving current sales objectives and developing new opportunities for the IPT Reprocessing product portfolio.Established contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff as it relates to IPT Reprocessing business.Participate in planning and implementing the marketing and sales strategy.Collaborate with National Sales Manager on annual sales forecast, business plan development, for increasing revenue within territory.Maintain open communication with assigned Customer Service Advocate. Price quotes, mailers and samples will be performed and issued through assigned personnel.Troubleshoot and evaluate all product reliability issues in assigned territory. - Must have excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to travel a minimum of 50%.
- Prior field sales or TERRITORY management experience required.
- 2 - 5 years sales experience with business-to-business sales or equivalent experience.
- Medical device sales highly preferred.
- Tertiary education in science and or business
- Prior experience with IPT reprocessing products is desirable.
- A good leaner with the ability to gain clinical knowledge quickly
