We have a unique career opportunity for a driven Territory Manager to join our highly respected team based in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Business Manager of the Cardiac Surgery Operating unit, you will be primarily responsible for selling our range of cardiac surgery solutions to cardiac surgeons and perfusion teams in hospitals for your assigned territory.
Your highly organised approach and drive will be required to maintain existing customers and develop new accounts. You will practice good territory management through effective organisation, administration and expense planning and control. Is this the career change you have been looking for?
Cardiac surgery represents end stage treatment in the care continuum for many cardiovascular diseases and this OU provides an intimate relationship with the Cardiac Surgeon and Cardiac OR by offering an unparalleled depth and breadth of portfolio.
A Day in the Life
Your natural ability to connect and communicate will build and maintain strong and ethical business relationships with customers to encourage usage of our cardiac surgery products to achieve sales revenue and market share targets for the territory. 'Hands on' in theatre experience and the ability to work on campaigns with fast paced technology make this role fulfilling as you get the opportunity to see how our devices change people’s lives.
Responsibilities Include
• Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
• Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services of Medtronic's products and/or services.
• Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
• Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
• Deliver the highest level of patient care, customer Health Care Professional (HCP) service, support and technical expertise in the hospital, clinic and educational environment, ensuring all activities drive optimal clinical outcomes
Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in medical devices, science or pharmaceutical Industry
• Proven track record in Sales
• Strong strategic focus and ability to identify business prioroties
