THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll play a crucial role in owning the New South Wales market! You will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with our client’s key customers, driving business growth, and contributing to the overall success of your team.

Key areas of responsibility and accountability:

  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at fostering business expansion within the agricultural sector across the NSW market.
  • Cultivate and nurture enduring partnerships with both current and prospective clientele.
  • Spearhead the discovery of fresh avenues for business development, amplifying our footprint in the market.
  • Foster synergy within the internal team to ensure flawless product/service delivery and uphold customer contentment.
  • Engage in frequent travel across the designated territory to personally connect with clients, discern their requirements, and deliver customised solutions.

ABOUT YOU

You're a seasoned sales professional with a genuine passion for the agriculture sector. 

You’re deeply familiar with our client's market landscape, characterised by your forward-thinking and adaptable nature. With an energetic drive for success, you are eager to make a significant impact in your career journey.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A genuine passion for the agriculture industry and a deep understanding of market trends.
  • Proven experience in business development and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, demonstrating readiness to travel for client engagements extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience with sales cycle navigation, and deal closure, with a strong focus on developing lasting client relationships.
  • Skilled in nurturing relationships and adept at handling challenging conversations with a knack for persuasion.
  • Fundamental IT and CRM software skills (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce) for effective daily operations and management of client data and sales processes.
