Dunlop Tennis’s Australian office is located in Sydney, with our global headquarters stemming in Kobe, Japan. As a successfully established brand, we have contracts with the Australian Open, ATP World Tour and PSA World Tour, making us a dominant force in both tennis and squash globally.
In this pivotal role you will have full accountability for the ongoing management of all NSW and QLD metro/regional accounts. Based in Sydney and reporting to the Brand Manager, your primary responsibility will be building long term strategic partnerships with existing customers, achieving sales and profit plans, while also identifying new business opportunities. You will have full ownership of the territories and be responsible for reporting and analysis of sales activities in your region.
The role will act as an ambassador for Dunlop, educating our customers on products and services, whilst actively promoting the brand at trade shows and events. You will also oversee in-store merchandising, to optimise tennis retail exposure and generate sales for our retail partners. We track all activities through our customer database – SAP and you will liaise with our warehouse and distribution team as required.
What we need;
- A sales professional / account manager with demonstrated success – ideally a background in tennis or sporting goods industry.
- Passion for all things tennis, the game, the players, and the products
- A strong communicator who can influence and negotiate with customers.
- Someone who looks at life “glass half full”, demonstrating a positive attitude and generally enjoys interacting with others.
- The balance of hunter and farmer and a person who enjoys the challenge of a target driven environment.
- A team player who is also able to thrive working in independently.
What you will need.
- You will need a full driver’s license.
- Be willing to travel throughout NSW and interstate (bi-monthly trips to QLD, spending 1-week at a time interstate).
