The Automotive Aftermarket division of Robert Bosch provides one of the most complete product portfolios globally. Our range includes Wipers, Batteries, Spark Plugs, Starter Motors and Alternators as well as Braking, Fuel Injection, Ignition and Diesel products. The Automotive Aftermarket division also encompasses the Bosch Service Centre network, which offers a complete range of diagnostic and repair services along with a wide range of spare parts.

Job Description

Due to an internal promotion, we are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated, professional and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Territory Manager - Qld. This role is an ongoing full-time position and will be Home-office based opportunity.

Key Accountabilities include

Drive sales of the Bosch Automotive portfolio in a defined geographical territory via personal representation at Bosch Distributors (BD’s – direct accounts) and branches, both trade and retail based.
Establish, maintain and grow selected Bosch battery partners in the NSW and QLD region
Support National Key Account activities within the region with parts and equipment support, drive Key Account sales within your designated territory
This is very much a “field” position with >80% of time spent in the market, engaging in customer facing activities.

Position responsibilities will include:
Representing a range of high-quality automotive parts and services, you will be responsible for managing the Qld Territory
Reporting into the Sales Manager, and with the flexibility to work remotely, you will drive both new business and existing business sales - both trade and retail
Managing your territory to maximise sales opportunities with regular visits
Visiting head offices and branches of clients to bring awareness of products and drive sales
Supporting National Key Account activities to ensure your sales objectives are met
Providing detailed sales reports in line with your strategy and goals
Learning and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the parts and service aspects of the business, so that your customers come to view you as an expert
Developing and implementing business development and account management strategies to ensure your sales objectives are met

Qualifications

We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work across multiple business units, coordinate various team members, manage diverse topics and priorities, establish effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:

You have proven significant experience in both existing account management and new business sales.
You are serious about securing a role where you can truly make your mark you are self-motivated, driven to succeed and the idea of working for one of the world's most recognisable businesses really appeals to you.
Ideally, you have a passion for cars and/or the automotive industry - you have an excellent technical aptitude and pride yourself on your ability to pick up on new information quickly and easily.
You are resilient, intelligent, and quick on the up-take - this is a complex business, and you will need to get your head around that.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset in how you approach your work - but at the same time can work within tight parameters and rules as required in a major international business.
You are reliable, have a passion for sales, strong work ethic, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Tertiary Qualifications preferred but not essential.

Essential:
Ability to sell, grow the business, ability to build relationships with all customers.
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word
Previous demonstrated sales experience managing customer accounts.
Ability and willingness to travel and engage in customer facing activities 80%+ of time.

Desirable:
Ability to prioritise based on division objectives and best return on time investment
Experience with CRM and systems such as SAP
Sales training and experience in the automotive industry
Previous Home office working experience.
