Huhtamaki Tailored Packaging (HTP) is a food service packaging distribution and wholesaler.  Founded in Sydney in 2001, we have offices and distribution warehouses in each state of Australia, and we're one of the largest importers and distributors of food service packaging in Australia.  We provide finished packaging products to a wide network of customers including metropolitan and regional packaging wholesalers, food wholesalers, club and hospitality suppliers, and national QSR businesses. 

About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for an action orientated Territory Manager to join our HTP team based in our fast-paced Winston Hills office and distribution centre. 

This role is a full time position and has the opportunity to be responsible for implementing sales strategies, fostering client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to drive existing and new business opportunities.

The right candidate will be hard working, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, will be accountable, reliable and highly engaging with stakeholders.  

Your duties will include but not limited to:

·      Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

·      Implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

·      Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously assess market dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support.

 To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in sales and territory management
  • Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and business priorities.
