About the role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as HR Manager to guide and support our human resources capability across KRSP Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be an experienced HR generalist, who can work at a strategic level, whilst overseeing the delivery of day-to-day human resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, remuneration, employee relations and managing HR Projects.
The role will be based either in our Broome office or our Cottesloe office (with a minimum of one week spent in Broome monthly, plus ad-hoc travel as required).
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
- Leading the delivery of human resources services through partnering and developing strong relationships with managers and employees
- Manage and deliver end to end recruitment for both white and blue collar positions.
- Maintain and further develop fit for purpose policies and practices throughout the organisation to ensure legislative compliance and contemporary standards.
- Manage the annual performance review process including coaching Managers and Supervisors through the process.
- Lead investigations and manage workplace dispute resolution, grievances and other matters.
- Prepare and maintain organisational charts.
- Preparation of employment contracts and other relevant employee communication.
- Providing advice and support to managers on employment matters, including the fair and consistent application of our HR policy and procedures, performance management and annual review processes.
- Monitor and develop strategies in response to movements in the labour market.
- Build and maintain effective relationships across the organisation in order to identify human resource needs and provide effective human resources solutions.
- Provide specialist HR and employee relations guidance and mentoring support to managers and supervisors.
- Assist Senior Management team with remuneration reviews.
- Remain abreast of the changing industrial landscape and advise the organisation as required.
- Timely reporting to the executive management team.
To be considered, applicants will present the following skills and experience as a minimum:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
- Recent and relevant experience as a Senior HR Advisor or as an HR Manager within a medium sized organisation along with experience in employee relations and delivery of generalist HR services.
- Experience with trades, construction and manufacturing sectors will be highly regarded.
- Sound understanding of employment legislation and confidence with interpreting and applying Modern Awards.
- Ability to develop interpersonal relationships with diverse groups and communicate effectively.
- This role is offered on a permanent full time basis.
