Working both in-branch and travelling the countryside in the iconic pink shirt, Territory Sales Managers assess and prepare livestock for market to obtain maximum value for clients.ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the branch, you will enjoy a varied day including:
- Maintaining professional relationships and growing a strong portfolio of new and existing clients
- Identifying and cultivating new livestock sales opportunities
- Developing and growing relationships with key industry partners including exporters and processors
- Providing professional onsite livestock advice to clients, recommending appropriate products and services to strengthen their business
- Employing tactful negotiating skills to bring buyers and sellers together
- Maximising promotional opportunities, including assisting at industry and community events
- Sale yard responsibilities at the Central Tablelands Livestock Exchange (CTLX)
- Receivals, drafting and penning of livestock for cattle and sheep.
- Regular fat and prime sales and store sales.
