YOUR BIG OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dynamic individual to help drive our client’s success in the New South Wales market! You will play a crucial role in cultivating and expanding relationships with our client’s key customers, driving business growth, and contributing to the overall success of your team.

Your day-to-day will look like:

  • Serve existing stores by providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Maintain a target of performing 25 planned face-to-face visits each week.
  • Attend trade events to represent the company and promote products.
  • Conduct product training sessions for store staff and clients.
  • Negotiate deals and introduce new products to independent and franchise stores.
  • Attract new customers within the target market (Distributors Of Paint and/or Render Products)
  • Explore and develop opportunities in related industries, such as tiling, and hardware stores.
  • Expand market brand awareness and reach through education.

ABOUT YOU

You bring great energy with a proactive, 'get things done' attitude, and your true passion lies in sales and nurturing your client relationships.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Prior experience in a similar role of face-to-face selling (preferably B2B wholesale).
  • Possess a practical mindset with a strong understanding of building products, ideally with previous experience in the construction or trade sector.
  • A good business acumen with a genuine passion for sales and assisting SMEs in finding tailored product solutions.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel regularly for business purposes. Expected travel is up to 25 nights away from home per year, visiting various NSW locations. This includes servicing areas such as Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast, Northern NSW up to Coffs Harbour, Central West to Dubbo, Wollongong, Canberra, and surrounding regions. Occasionally, travel to Head Office in Melbourne will also be required.
  • Proven proficiency in the end-to-end sales process and successfully closing deals.
  • Possess exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and nurturing relationships.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and honesty in every aspect of your work and personal presentation.
  • Possess strong technical proficiency and administration skills, with a willingness and ability to undertake detailed reporting.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational and prioritisation abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • High attention to detail and thoroughness in all your work.
