We are seeking a proactive and outgoing Test Analyst to join our team, focusing on the uplift of rostering and crew management systems using Sabre, specifically tailored to AirCrews functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to create test assets from existing systems and demonstrate exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives for the uplift of rostering and crew management systems using Sabre, with a specific emphasis on AirCrews functionalities.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of the uplifted systems.
- Utilize your strong analytical skills to create test assets from existing systems, ensuring thorough coverage of all relevant functionalities and scenarios.
- Proactively engage with existing team members on a one-on-one basis to gain in-depth knowledge of existing systems, processes, and business requirements.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to identify and address any potential issues or challenges in the uplift process.
- Execute test cases, analyze results, and meticulously document any issues or discrepancies encountered during testing.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the uplift process.
- Continuously assess and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to rostering, crew management, and Sabre Products, integrating relevant insights into testing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on rostering, crew management, or similar systems within the aviation industry.
- Strong understanding of Sabre Products, particularly AirCrews Specific functionalities, and their integration with rostering and crew management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies, including test case management systems and defect tracking tools.
