Reporting to the Validation Assistant Manager, the Test Engineer is responsible for developing test systems and processes to achieve repeatable, high quality parts. As part of the Validation team, you will conduct testing and approve test reports.
In this role you will:
- Co-ordinate the improvement opportunities of all laboratory test equipment.
- Perform root cause failure analysis and recommend corrective action.
- Design, develop, execute and report test plans to customer and company specifications.
- Give technical assistance to other departments in those fields where, by reason of experience or qualification, are competent to do so.
The successful applicant will require:
- Formal qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering – or previous experience as a Test Engineer.
- Relevant experience and sound knowledge of failure and analysis and investigation techniques.
- Strong planning and verbal and written skills are essential.
