Gold Coast Private Hospital are seeking an experienced Theatre Orderly to join our team on a casual basis. This role will see you working of our rotational roster with flexible shift times available. In this role you will work within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. As a Theatre Orderly your responsibilities will include:
· Patient Assistance and transfers including the use of lifting machine and bed movers.
· General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management
- Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available
· Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
· Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
· Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
· Work as an active team member to support all work tasks
· Essential Criteria:
- Cert 3 in Health Services or interest in obatining
- Experience as an orderly in a Hospital environment preferred
- Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
· Working with Children check
· Commitment to service excellence
· Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· High level attention to detail
