Job description

Connect Allied Health are a friendly and experienced team of allied health clinicians, who are dedicated to providing high quality speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, positive behaviour supports, developmental education, and other allied health services for children and adults in Adelaide and the Riverland.

We believe in a holistic, client-centred approach, and tailor interventions to suit individual needs. Services can take place in our Norwood, Modbury and Berri clinics, or the client's home, school, or early learning centre.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordination of multiple clinical schedules, arranging appointments at schools, homes and Early Learning Centres, whilst mitigating therapist travel
  • On-boarding new clients and supporting existing clients to access additional preferred services
  • Ensuring client governance is maintained, e.g., consent forms, service agreements, etc. 
  • Excellent and timely communication with clients, families and schools to support access to preferred appointment times, whilst ensuring a schedule that flows for the therapist
  • Excellent and timely communication with therapists to support them, and ensure schedules are efficient and effective
  • Completing scheduling requirements in a timely manner, displaying a high level of time management and prioritisation skills
  • Budget planning to support continuity of therapy supports
  • General administration duties
  • Greeting clients and therapists in a warm and welcoming manner

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in Scheduling and Rostering
  • An understanding or exposure to allied health supports and/or the National Disability Insurance Scheme
  • A positive can-do attitude and ability to work as a team player 
  • Exceptional prioritisation and time management skills are essential for this position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in learning skills to navigate practice management software
  • Required to obtain Working with Children and Disability Services Clearances or NDIS Worker Check, and a National Police Clearance
