Third Party Debtors Officer

The Opportunity 
  
The Third Party Debtors Team play an integral role in ensuring the effective management and protection of Shine’s interests in matters that transfer to new law firms.  As a valued member of this friendly team, you’ll be responsible for communicating with Shine’s solicitors, as well as defendant solicitors and insurance companies, to recover Shine’s costs and disbursements.
  
This is a permanent, full time opportunity, based out of our Epping office that would be ideal for a law student who is eager to gain experience in a firm prior to admission. It's the perfect role for someone with strong administration skills and well developed customer service skills, as well as a passion for helping people.
  
With empathy, adaptability and initiative, you will be a true champion of our clients by:   

• Accurately compiling and forwarding file information to Third Party Clients.
• Reconciling costs and preparing reconciliation sheets for billing.
• Preparing notifications to new law firms, defendant solicitors and insurers.
• Building strong working relationships across all areas of Shine, and immerse yourself in the legal field, to get the best possible outcomes.  

What you’ll bring   

• You’ll use solid written & verbal communication skills to communicate with a wide range of internal & external business partners.  
• You’ll be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment with an understanding of basic financial mathematics.
• You’ll bring a positive mindset focused on supporting those in your team and the greater business. 
• Previous experience within an administrative, banking or financial services environment would be great... but it’s not essential
