We are an equal opportunity, independent, Foundation to Year 12 Islamic College based in Melbourne's outer west. Child safety is our priority and we are currently seeking a full-time team member to join our College.
The Timetable Manager plays a central role in assisting to construct the College’s various timetables, ensuring they effectively and efficiently support the staffing and curriculum needs of the College. The ideal candidate should be a highly organized and proactive individual, who pays significant attention to detail, with the capacity to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Essential Criteria:
- Working With Children Check is mandatory
- Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Assist in the development of staffing allotments and draft timetable grids, including the maintenance of the School Data platform.
- Strong understanding of the developmental needs of children, adolescents and emerging young adults.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Explain professional concepts and approaches to clients, stakeholders, colleagues and staff
- Confidentiality
- Proficient in the use of ICT for communication and record keeping.
- Interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff and parents, particularly the ability to work as a member of a team.
- Maintain a positive environment which is respectful of all present and fosters student learning and motivation.
- Participate in the College's professional development activities in and out of school hours.
